WELCOME TO OSCC - Never Stop Serving
Mt Hood - Oregon Cascades
COUNCIL PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Thank you for visiting the Oregon State Council of Chapters Military Officers Association of America website. We support the activities of our seven affiliated chapters as well as the military community. As of January 2020, our association numbers seven active chapters, representing nearly 500 members throughout the State.
Our chapters are involved in many service activities that foster support for the military and encourage stronger relationships between the services and the civilian communities of Oregon. These activities include supporting Junior ROTC and ROTC units with awards/medals, scholarships and branch insignia. Additionally, they support our deployed troops and their families, recognize and honor the service of veterans from past conflicts, provide grass root support for veteran and military legislative initiatives and assist many veteran related programs and initiatives.
If you are a current, former or retired commissioned officer of any of the United States uniformed services, including NOAA and Public Health, and are interested in associating with fellow military officers, a local chapter is the place for you. Chapters strive to maintain and improve the benefits to which you are entitled. If you are interested in serving your local communities, MOAA chapter membership would be a natural fit. Contact us if you would like more information regarding the Oregon State Council, individual Oregon Chapters or National MOAA.
Sincerely,
Tom Machrowski, President Oregon State Council of Chapters
